Evaluation processes
give us the opportunity to look at what's working at
Mid-Carolina and make effective plans for change and
growth. In the
spring of 2008, 55 randomly-selected seniors took
the High Schools That Work Assessment of Reading,
Mathematics, and Science. There is concern
that the students who took the test did not take it
seriously. The report also includes data from
a teacher survey given in spring 2008.

October of 2007, MCHS was pleased to host a
technical assistance visit (TAV) from South
Carolina's High Schools That Work program for a
comprehensive evaluative study.
